Great article.  This brought back many memories of full body negative only workouts I have done.  You know, having one or two training partners to help you lift the weight (iso lateral machines require two partners), so that you could do the almost impossible task of lowering it.  The greatest memory was the feeling of complete and total muscular soreness I had the days after the workout.  I can remember being reminded with each movement, including rolling over in bed, of the muscular growth I stimulated during my negative only workout.  I sometimes think I must be part of a small group of people that feel good being sore.  Many people I know will give up at the slightest feeling of discomfort, or pushing beyond easy into accomplishing what feels like might be impossible. I guess I like the sense of accomplishment and that I know I stimulated productive strength growth to help me be the best I can be. And, I was too sore to workout for at least a week after :).</description>
