  • Do You Train Like a Girl?

And if you do, is that a good thing or a bad thing?

In case you didn’t know, men and women have the same muscles.

And the biochemical changes that cause an increase in muscular size and strength are the same for both. This is no different than the fact that men and women both acquire suntans through the same process.

However, in case you haven’t noticed, men and women (for the most part) look quite different from each other. Which, of course, is a good thing.

Of course, being a man, and a zealous advocate of High Intensity Training, I never thought of myself as training like a girl. Recently, while I was right in the middle of an intense workout, somebody actually accused me of that! Initially I was pissed, and reacted by issuing a smackdown-but I ended up learning something…..

Watch this to find out the real story…..

Here’s the point: properly performed, High Intensity strength training will make a man look like more of a man, and a woman look like more of a woman.

Girls, you are not going to become “manly” by working hard and lifting heavy weights.

Guys, stop screwing around with light weights for 2 hours at a time-step up and be a man, push yourself to your limit, and get out of the gym.

Train intensely no matter who you are,
